Brittany watched, biting her bottom lip, as Santana started to open her gift. She'd been saving her allowance for a couple of months because she'd always planned on getting her something. She did every year. She had for as long as she could remember. Brittany would save up her allowance so she could get Santana something special. This year was even more special because they were finally together. So she had to get something better than any other gift she'd ever given her. The necklace was simple, but it said so much and to Brittany it was just perfect. Just like Santana was.

The smile on Brittany's face grew as she watched Santana open the box, a smile lighting up her face. Brittany loved Santana's smile, it made her even more beautiful than she already was. She was so glad her girlfriend seemed to love the gift. "You're welcome." She said, as Santana got up and walked into the other room, coming back with another gift.

"You got me something else?" The blonde's eyes lit up, looking up at Santana's as she slid into her lap. Taking the small box from her hand, she bit her lip again. "San, you didn't have to. You already got me so much." But she eagerly started ripping the paper away, revealing a small box. Opening the hinged lid, her eyes grew wide and she let out a small gasp when she saw the ring. "Oh my God..." She said, mouth falling open in surprise. "It's so beautiful." Suddenly she threw her arms around the smaller girl in her lap, hugging her tightly. "This is really amazing, San. Thank you so much." Leaning up, she pressed a soft kiss to Santana's lips before pulling away and looking at her with so much love in her eyes, it just seemed like the perfect time to tell her how she truly felt. "I love you."
